SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it really is alarmed concerning the higher variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area daily. The assistance place developed for intervention experiences a superior influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who go to SRD a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to allow the servicing of all prospects and boost access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
